I would just like to say that Starshine doesn't keep these rules to restrict you and force you to behave. They help the site run smoothly. So, please, just follow them. Thanks.
I. You can only have one account on this site. It keeps it organized and you know who's who.
II. STICK WITH THE NAME YOU CHOOSE. period. It'll be confusing. We don't want a 'Raindrop' running around as a 'Shiningheart', who's display name was changed to 'Peggy'. Kay? It just gets confusing. Oh, and the name has to be appropriate.
III. Try not to make your signatures, say, stretch the board. If they stretch the board, we will crop them and make them clickable. And don't make them too long, either. Please make your signature APPROPRIATE.
IV. Unless you have posted in the away board, if you don't come on for a month your account will be immediately deleted. No questions asked. Here on Starshine we cherish activity. And activity isn't just posting in the c-box and signing in every month so you don't get deleted. It is POSTING WITH YOUR CATS.
V. Under no circumstances may you be rude or offensive to any other members. If you do this, you will be deleted - not banned, deleted - without warning. And we will ban your IP. That is extremely unacceptable, and we expect members to not even have this problem.
VI. Swearing is allowed, but in moderation, and not at another member. We don't want to see five swears per post, 'kay? plus, cats don't know human swearing.
VII. For now, you may have as many cats as you want. However, if members go out of control with the number of cats they have, I will restrict the number of cats.
VIII. Don't ever say 'I don't feel like RPing this cat anymore'. You created them, and you took on the responsibility. And don't just make them die, because you do not see cats dying every two seconds in the Warrior books, did you? Sorry, but we want to keep the RPG as realistic as possible.
IX. Cats may not have special powers, or special fur colors, or something like that. This is reality. The cats here are like the cats we see in our world.
X. You cannot roleplay your cat until it has been accepted by a Global Moderator or me.
XI. There is only one high-ranking position allowed per person. Period.
XII. Please do not be too rambly in the posts you make. Don't repeat yourself a million times. On the other hand, don't make your posts extra-short. Make them about 200 words, give or take.
XIII. In IC, please do not post more than once in a row in a thread. Just modify your post if you have to add something else. There is a button that says 'Modify' at the top of the post, and if you click that, you can modify your post.
IXV. You cannot roleplay your cats doing anything icky. Such as mating, and describing how they scent mark, none of that will be tolerated. If you do that, your account will be banned depending on how bad it was. If you do it again, deleted. And if you do that yet again, then you will be deleted and your IP will be banned.
XV. Absolutely no power playing. Power playing means acting someone else's cat. So if you play Mothwing, and Candy plays Darkstripe, you cannot roleplay Darkstripe.
XVI. No godmoding. Godmoding is when your cat is invincible. When it fights, it has to get wounds. No cat is a super-cat.
XVII. Please try to use correct spelling. I know, sometimes you're in a hurry and you make typos, but spell check is there to assist you!
XVIII. Post in third person unless you have had specific permission from me, and only me, Silver. I trust you know what 'third-person' means. If you don't, PM me.
IXX. Almost every cat follows the warrior code, and yours has to also. It's very rare that a cat breaks the warrior code, so just don't do it.
XX. You may not show your cat giving birth in real detail. It just disgusting.
XXI. Kits are too young to have kits, elders are too old yo have kits.
